Why we do it.
At Creative Sparks Projects, we believe in the transformative power of art to ignite confidence, connection, and resilience in young people - especially those facing the greatest barriers to opportunity.
Unlike large-scale programs that prioritise numbers, we focus on depth over breadth.
Our small, specialised model allows us to work intensively with young people in disadvantaged and regional communities, delivering programs that are highly personalised, responsive, and impactful.
Through our mural and arts-based programs, we create safe, empowering spaces where young people can express themselves, build self-worth, and contribute to something bigger than themselves. The results are profound: when young people feel seen, heard, and connected, their wellbeing improves — and when they thrive, their schools and communities thrive too.
By remaining lean and agile, we remove barriers and bring high-quality creative wellbeing programs to communities that are often overlooked. Every project is tailored, every participant is supported, and every dollar is maximised for real, lasting impact.
Together, we’re not just nurturing young minds — we’re shaping stronger, more connected, and vibrant communities across Australia.

What We Do

Provide opportunities for young people to help shape their communities.
National Youth Mental Health Survey showed 62% of Young Aussie's feel "left out often". When young people feel connected to their community, they gain the confidence to make positive choices and believe in themselves.
Creative Sparks Projects ignite a sense of belonging - helping young people build resilience, resist negative influences, and take pride in shaping their future and their community.

Inspiring young people to share their voice.
When young people feel confident to share their voice, they begin to express themselves in powerful, constructive ways that support their growth and wellbeing.
Creative Sparks Projects provide a foundation for young people to build essential life skills, foster a sense of belonging, and develop pride in their contribution to their school and community — setting them on a path toward a brighter, more connected future.

Access for all to art & creativity.
We know that students in rural, regional, and low socio-economic communities often miss out on the wellbeing programs their peers in more resourced areas can access. Creative Sparks Projects Schools Program designed to directly address inequities highlighted by the OECD’s Education at a Glance report—bringing creative wellbeing programs to the students most impacted by Australia’s funding gap
Creative Sparks Projects opens the door for young people to experience the joy, connection, and healing that creativity brings. Through our vibrant, hands-on workshops, young people are guided to explore their ideas, express themselves freely, and collaborate with others in a safe, supportive environment.
More than just another "pretty picture on the wall" - our Mural Programs are a powerful tool for building confidence, fostering resilience, and supporting mental wellbeing. Every mural painted is a reminder that young people have a voice, and that voice can transform both their own lives and the communities around them.
Andrew - A Participant in CSP
“I didn’t think I’d be too good at painting, cause I’m not very good at it. But Kyle showed me how to approach it and how to work through my mistakes so the end I’m really proud of the mural and I get to walk down the street and show my friends and family that’s what I did and they think it looks really awesome!”
Lauren Johannson - Youth Worker
“Our engagement has been fabulous, attendance has been epic and they’ve been really excited to be part of the project and see what Kyle does as a profession and see that you can be an excitable human being and still succeed!”
Lorraine Bodger, Art Teacher
"We loved having Kyle at our school running his Creative Sparks Projects. The students loved playing with spray paints and getting to contribute to the mural in our school. I would highly recommend Kyle & Creative Sparks Projects for any schools."
